Savvy Rest organic mattresses are GreenGuard certified.    Savvy Rest has achieved GREENGUARD GOLD Certification for our organic mattresses, pillows, and mattress toppers. GREENGUARD-Certified products must meet stringent standards for low chemical emissions into indoor air. GOLD-level certification includes additional requirements for vulnerable populations, such as children and the elderly.
Savvy Rest has been certified by GOTS    GOTS, or Global Organic Textile Standard, is the leading standard for organic textiles. Our organic cotton fabric and wool batting and our manufacturing facility are all GOTS-certified. Learn more here.
Oregon Tilth (OTCO) is one of the leading certifiers of organic goods.    The most-respected certifier of organic materials in the United States is Oregon Tilth. Oregon Tilth certifies our organic wool supplier and also has certified our manufacturing facility according to the GOTS standard.
Our Dunlop latex comes from farms certified organic according to USDA standards.    The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) sets legal standards for the term “organic” through the National Organic Program (NOP). Our Dunlop latex supplier's rubber tree farms are certified organic to U.S. standards. Their latex foam processing is certified by the International Control Union to the Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS).
   Respected by manufacturers and agencies worldwide, Germany's Eco Institut is an independent materials testing laboratory. Our Dunlop supplier, Cocolatex, has achieved Eco Institut certification for the purity of their organic latex.
   The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is an independent testing and certification system for raw, intermediate and end textile products. Our Dunlop and Talalay latex suppliers meet the rigorous Oeko-Tex standards.
   Radium Foam, our natural Talalay latex supplier, works with the Environmental Protection Encouragement Agency (EPEA) to achieve eco-efficacy with the Cradle-to-Cradle philosophy, which evaluates products according to health impact, materials re-use, renewable energy, water stewardship, and social fairness. Our natural Talalay has achieved Cradle-to-Cradle SILVER certification.

   As a member of the Green Power Partnership, Savvy Rest supports wind energy development and helps to reduce the risks of climate change through ongoing investment in renewable energy credits (RECs).
Savvy Rest offsets its carbon emissions by donating to Carbonfund.org.    Savvy Rest offsets annual estimated carbon emissions by donating to Carbonfund.org, a non-profit committed to helping businesses and individuals reduce their climate impact.
   After transitioning to employee ownership at the end of 2012, Savvy Rest joined the ESOP Association to benefit our employee-owners. Read more about this decision in our blog.
