2008 Green Festival in Washington, D.C.

More green home shows and eco shows are popping up in cities all over the country. Two of the major ones hosted by Co-op America are held in Washington and San Francisco.

As we are only 2 hours from Washington, we decided to exhibit at the 2008 Green Fest. Dominick and Seanan met hundreds of people, mostly from the east coast, and new storeowners expressed interest in carrying our products.

When the booth got a little quiet, our Savvy gentlemen would open up and re-configure the latex to create a different firmness. As very few people have ever seen a mattress taken apart, a small crowd would gather whenever they began to rearrange the layers.

The show was a hit, and Savvy Rest got a wonderful response!

We’ll certainly be back at the DC Green Fest next year, and we’re looking forward to another green show in nearby Richmond, Virginia, in the spring.
